Jon Pellegrene’s professional experience of more than ten years in the architecture and real estate industries extends from site analysis and feasibility studies to the hands-on management of new construction and renovation work. He approaches every project with a focus on effective team communication to provide favorable results.
When a DMA client acquired an 11-story landmarked building in Times Square, Jon worked with the owner and various consultant teams to establish a scope of work to address the needs of the building. Through the creation of a project schedule and by soliciting feedback from contractors and design professionals, he was able to provide accurate feedback to the leasing team to establish key delivery dates to tenants and other deliverables. Work at the building involved capital improvements, façade restoration, new mechanical system, new roofing, as well as Landlord work to prepare the spaces for tenants such as WeWork and CVS.
Another client acquired a portfolio of regional shopping centers in a billion-dollar transaction. Jon was involved from the due diligence process and then led retail tenant delivery and project management work on the East and West coasts. He assisted in numerous transitions and start up tasks and produced consistent reporting across the portfolio by collaborating closely with legal, leasing and property teams. Communication played a key role in the successful on-time opening of various tenants across the portfolio.
Jon is skilled at developing and presenting key information to stakeholders and at using technical tools to streamline project workflow. He works closely with contractors and consultants to develop cost-effective schedules and identify savings opportunities. His organizational, analytical and creative problem-solving abilities help ensure timely progress and completion.
