Nearing completion in December, the charcoal metal façade at 15 N. Elizabeth Street brings a fresh look to its West Loop neighborhood and blends contemporary and industrial influences. The five-story condominium development features seven distinctive units. Design elements include cantilevered balconies or outdoor terraces, floor-to-ceiling windows and high-end interior finishes. DMA invested in this multifamily residential project, now almost fully sold.

Bally’s Corporation submitted two proposals for a City of Chicago casino, featuring two prospective sites for a world-class resort and entertainment destination. Each proposal represents a potential $1.6 billion investment in developing a flagship property on a currently underutilized site: the Tribune Project, situated at Chicago Avenue and Halsted Street; or the McCormick Project, at the McCormick Place Truck Marshaling Yard. Bally’s community-first approach emphasizes local opportunities for minority partners, suppliers and other Chicago stakeholders.

DMA assisted with the development of the Bally’s Chicago proposals. From among five submitted proposals, the City of Chicago will select one project to move forward.

Leasing activity at Miami Worldcenter continues with commitments from three prominent tenants. Lucid Motors will open an electric vehicle showroom, delivery center and service facility. Bowlero plans a bowling lounge, arcade and sports bar, and Sephora will bring its inviting beauty shopping experience to the $4 billion mixed-use development. Combined, these three leases total 60,000 square feet of retail space. DMA is leading retail tenant delivery activities for Miami Worldcenter, which also recently announced the creation of a central public plaza and park within the downtown site.

Brookfield Properties officially opened Manhattan West, a major mixed-use development with eight acres of residential, retail, hotel, dining, entertainment and office space. Creative retail and restaurant concepts surround a 2.5-acre public plaza designed by James Corner Field Operations, responsible for New York City’s High Line. Free arts exhibitions and events planned by Arts Brookfield will take place on the plaza year-round, and a contemporary variety theatre opens in October. Numerous office tenants, a fully leased luxury residential building, and the Pendry Manhattan West hotel bring added energy to property. DMA continues to support retail tenant delivery activities as Manhattan West draws new brands and opportunities.

Construction is poised to begin on a prominent part of the new Miami Worldcenter development. Legacy Miami Worldcenter, a 50-story mixed-use tower, will ultimately rise to 691 feet. Plans call for 310 luxury condominium units, 220 hotel rooms, and more than 100,000 square feet of wellness-focused space within the building. DMA is leading retail tenant delivery activities for Miami Worldcenter, which spans ten city blocks in downtown Miami’s Parkwest neighborhood.

The first restaurant leases signed at Miami Worldcenter total 30,400 square feet, with two prominent chefs opening four different venues. Danny Grant, a former Michelin-starred chef based in Chicago, will launch a steakhouse and an Italian eatery. Michael Beltran, a Miami chef and James Beard nominee, will open a Cuban-influenced bistro and separate cigar bar. A major mixed-use development emerging in downtown Miami, Miami Worldcenter spans ten city blocks and blends residential, hospitality, commercial, retail and entertainment spaces. The newest location of Sant Ambroeus, at Brookfield Place in Lower Manhattan, features a distinctive design intended to capture the historic grandeur of Italy and New York City. The Italian restaurant offers a formal dining area, private dining rooms, and a more casual café and coffee bar in the newly opened two-story space. Design elements include bronze-colored architectural fins on the building’s granite facade and an 18-foot-tall Murano glass chandelier inside. DMA helped ensure a smooth space design and delivery process as part of ongoing retail tenant delivery work for Brookfield Place.
