CocoWalk sits at the center of Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood, an historic bayside community that’s also one of the city’s oldest. With a surge of commercial redevelopment drawing new attention to the area, our client and partners undertook a transformation of the property from a 90s-era retail center to a more vibrant, mixed-used space that better serves residents, tenants and visitors.
The redesigned CocoWalk includes a new landscaped public plaza, a significant retail space renovation, and the development of a five-story mixed-use building with ground-floor retail and offices above. Exterior features reflect a more modern, community-centered aesthetic. DMA is working onsite to lead project management and retail tenant delivery work, bringing new shops, restaurants and additional businesses into the neighborhood.
