A new transit-oriented urban neighborhood is emerging in multiple phases near Washington, DC and transforming an aging retail power center into a walk-able, bike-able community. Phase one of this $500 million, mixed-use development includes 160,000 square feet of retail space: street-level space in a residential building and 19-story tower, and multiple floors in a building that also houses office space, a state-of-the-art cinema, a health club and a parking garage. Phase two of Pike & Rose will bring another 180,000 square feet of retail to the market, as well as a hotel and additional residential space.

DMA is working on behalf of our long-time client, Federal Realty, to manage the complexities of retail tenant delivery in this multifaceted environment. Our vital team role helps integrate activities to maximize efficiency and ensure that essential infrastructure is in place to support retail requirements. Phase one construction completed in the Fall of 2015. Phase two is nearing completion, including the recent openings of REI, Pinstripes and H&M.
