An innovative development in the heart of Manhattan’s new west side integrates custom-designed office space, residential options, retail and lifestyle amenities in an urban neighborhood with abundant green space and unparalleled transportation access. Manhattan West offers more than 240,000 square feet of retail space for curated dining and shopping experiences. Brookfield asked DMA to ensure smooth, efficient retail and restaurant tenant coordination and delivery across each location within the development.
Manhattan West features six buildings: two new office towers (One and Two Manhattan West), a 13-story boutique office building (The Loft), a 62-story residential tower (The Eugene), a 30-story hotel and condo property, and the $350 million transformation of an existing, 16-story office building to the modern, energy-efficient, glass-clad 5 Manhattan West.
The development’s ground-level retail surrounds a two-acre public plaza designed by High Line architects James Corner Field Operations. DMA’s work is supporting the launch of a thriving retail environment, with openings through spring 2020. Manhattan West’s location links Hudson Yards on the far west side with the Empire Station Complex, a renovation of Penn Station.
