Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot attended the ground-breaking ceremony for The Terminal, in West Humboldt Park. This $50 million development will transform a group of three aging industrial buildings into a 240,000-square-foot “creative office campus,” intended to attract creative and tech companies and spark economic development in the neighborhood. The privately funded project supports the city’s aim to champion investment in South and West side communities. DMA’s Jaime Bulla is working with the development team on The Terminal. Construction is expected to begin soon.
