Recognizing LEED Gold in Franklin Park

Representing the US Green Building Council of Illinois, DMA’s Jason Westrope recognized the Franklin Park Police Station’s recent LEED Gold certification by presenting an award to the village president.  Built in 2013, the station incorporates numerous strategies to trim energy and resource use and to reduce waste. Jason is a newly elected member and treasurer of the 2014 USGBC-IL Board.
