Casino starting to rise

A tower, loading dock, and steel beams are among the visible signs of progress at the site of the new Des Plaines casino. Charles Porter of DMA, managing development on behalf of Midwest Gaming and Entertainment LLC, notes in this article that the façade and building exterior will soon be evident. Porter expects to complete most exterior work on the casino before the onset of winter weather. Plans call for a summer grand opening.
