Miracle Mile Central Plant

Share on twitter Share on LinkedIn Share via email

Owners of the Miracle Mile Shops, an enclosed retail and entertainment center on the Las Vegas Strip, undertook a major HVAC system upgrade. The project created a new central plant to provide chilled water for HVAC cooling, improving energy efficiency and operational control. Miracle Mile Shops previously relied on a combined central plant that also served an adjacent hotel and casino.

As the owner’s representative, DMA worked closely with a technically specialized team to optimize project efficiency and quality. Work included building a new cooling tower above the existing mall roof level, with a structural support steel frame on new foundations, and constructing a 4,171-square-foot plant room at ground level to house mechanical equipment. New chilled water piping connects towers, plant and ETS rooms, and new electrical equipment supports dedicated electric service.
