The Bally’s Chicago permanent casino represents a $1.7 billion investment in creating a new entertainment district along the Chicago River. That investment will transform the one-time site of Tribune Publishing, at Chicago Avenue and Halsted Street. The development is designed to attract a variety of visitors, from gaming enthusiasts to foodies, sports fans, concertgoers and museum-lovers. Phase-one plans include the casino with 4,000 gaming positions, 11 restaurants, a hotel tower with up to 500 rooms, a 70,000-square-foot entertainment center, an exhibition and museum venue, outdoor public green space and a riverwalk extension.

DMA worked with Bally’s Chicago on its winning casino proposal and continues to support development progress on the permanent casino complex. Bally’s Chicago is committed to specific, community-focused goals to promote stakeholder engagement, small business involvement and minority employment.
