With senior housing inventory shrinking nationwide and a growing population of older adults in Orange County, California, the non-profit Bluhm Family Foundation brought in DMA to serve as development manager for The Marisol. This senior living community aims to help ease demand for high-quality rental options in the area and features a modern coastal aesthetic that complements its surroundings.
As envisioned, the project will offer 136 Assisted Living Light Units, 49 Traditional Assisted Living Units, and 29 Memory Care Units in a three-story building spanning approximately 280,000 square feet. Residences will range in size, from studios to one- and two-bedroom designs, and underground parking will accommodate an estimated 234 spaces. Extensive planned amenities include multiple dining venues, bar and lounge areas, a spa, a wellness gym, a theatre, an art studio and three outdoor courtyards.
DMA will coordinate work by the broader team from groundbreaking through delivery, furthering ownership’s cost, quality and delivery goals.
