Wheelhouse

The Wheelhouse Bar and Grill opened in early 2010 at the Rivers Casino &ndash Pittsburgh, a 400,000-square foot entertainment complex adjacent to the city's Heinz Field football stadium.

Through a floor-to-ceiling wall of windows in the Wheelhouse, guests can view Heinz Field (home to the Pittsburgh Steelers), take in the city skyline, and look out to the panoramic Ohio River. Sports fans of every variety can watch the latest games on the Wheelhouse's 40 high-definition television screens, including a vertically retractable HD panel with a 120-inch diagonal picture. The 10,000-square-foot Wheelhouse also boasts a 50-foot main bar, lounge seating for 246, two outdoor fire pits, and patio lounge seating in warm weather.

DMA oversaw development and construction of the Rivers Casino &ndash Pittsburgh and provided project management services for this venue on behalf of the same client, Holdings Acquisition, LLC. We are pleased to have earned the client's continued business and to have partnered on the Wheelhouse with BWA, providing architectural services; Floss Barber, creating the sophisticated interior design; and Massaro Corporation, completing the build-out construction.
