The owners of Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino always envisioned a hotel on the property. When the timing was right to develop The Landing Hotel Pittsburgh, the client reached out to a team involved with the original, successful casino project: DMA. Team members knew the existing entertainment facility and site—a North Shore location overlooking the Ohio River. Among other projects for the client, DMA had also managed development of The Landing Hotel at Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady, NY.

The Landing Hotel Pittsburgh features a contemporary design that complements the adjacent casino. The seven-story structure will include 219 guest rooms and suites in 133,000 square feet. A double-height lobby, bar and restaurant offers dramatic views of the river and city and links pedestrians through the hotel to the Riverwalk. A new landscaped, riverfront event space and direct indoor access from the hotel to the Rivers Event Center will expand available options for special events on the property. Construction of The Landing Hotel Pittsburgh, a $60 million development project, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2020.
