DMA is providing Development Consulting expertise on a Vicksburg, Mississippi hotel/casino project for a private developer which is slated to open in the Fall of 2008. The project will include 800 gaming positions, 2 restaurants, a multifunction room, and an 80 room hotel. The complex incorporates a river walk that takes full advantage of a beautifully wooded site on the banks of the Mississippi River.
One of the unique and appealing features of the Riverwalk Casino and Hotel is a commitment to exhibit works by local and regional artists, including dramatic sculptures, original paintings, photographs, and fiber art. The Riverwalk Art Program selects work for ongoing exhibition in interior and exterior spaces with the help of an onsite curator and an advisory panel representing area arts organizations. DMA provided development consulting services to Magnolia Hill LLC on this project and is pleased to have played a part in ensuring its strong public appeal.
