This six-story building owned by the U.S. General Services Administration in downtown Chicago was originally a Bonds department store and is adjacent to the Dirksen Federal Building, designed by Mies van der Rohe. DMA collaborated with a Minneapolis-based architectural firm on the reconfiguration and renovation of 10 W. Jackson for the GSA.
Our consulting role focused on optimizing plans for first- and second-floor retail space. DMA conducted a feasibility analysis of potential reconfiguration options, considering leasing data and market trends, to maximize the property’s leasing potential.
