Sue Crowley applies strong interpersonal, technology, and project management skills to her role as project coordinator with DMA. She has a proven ability to create and sustain collaborative partnerships with diverse team members and is adept at multitasking. She also has extensive research, database, and statistical skills. On a daily basis, Sue provides a broad range of support at DMA, contributing to accounting services, lease administration, tenant coordination, graphics, computer operations, and marketing activities and collateral.

Prior to joining DMA, Sue worked for a not-for-profit community agency in Chicago, providing managerial support to program staff, representing the agency at funding meetings, managing external communications and administrative staff, and solving technical issues. In an earlier role, she assisted agency clients with the job search process, counseling and teaching essential skills and creating partnerships with area employers and other service agencies. Sue has applied her passion and knowledge of language and culture as a project translator, developing dental health education materials for Spanish-speaking populations.

Sue holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Anthropology from Kansas State University and has studied Spanish at the Universidad de Granada, in Spain, and at the Center for Interamerican Studies in Cuenca, Ecuador. Sue spent eight months backpacking through South America, including many treks through the Andes Mountains, and has also served in the Peace Corps, living and teaching English in a small village of Ukraine. She has visited 11 countries and counting.
