Jake Knight brings a strong background in technology, geology, and the environment to his role as a project coordinator with DMA. His attention to detail and unique combination of skills support accounting services, tenant coordination, graphics, and marketing activities.

Prior to joining DMA, Jake worked in web operations for Kaplan Financial, where he managed databases and coordinated the release of online and print products. Previously, he served as an interpretive park ranger at the Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska. There he gained first-hand knowledge of issues related to climate change, which are much more pronounced in higher latitudes. He has also worked at the Chicago Association of Realtors.

Jake holds a bachelor's degree in geology from Miami University and has presented his geologic research at scientific conferences. His understanding of soil remediation and related subjects is directly relevant to brownfield redevelopment.

Jake is certified in Wilderness First Aid. On cross-country skis, he scaled Alaska's Exit Glacier with a research team measuring snow pack and surface temperatures. He also spent one month in the Alaskan wild studying Harbor Seal behavior and disruption. He enjoys speaking conversational German.
